Rubber Gaskets

Rubber Gaskets

Rubber gaskets are the most cost-effective sealing material and are widely used across various industries. They offer excellent flexibility and compression properties, making them ideal for low to medium pressure applications.

We offer a complete range of elastomeric gasket materials including Butyl, EPDM, Natural Rubber, Neoprene, Nitrile (NBR), SBR, Silicone, Vinyl, and Viton®. Each material is selected based on the specific requirements of temperature, pressure, and chemical compatibility.

Available in various thicknesses, sizes, and configurations including full-face, ring type, and custom-cut shapes.

Rubber Materials Comparison

Material Max Temp (°F) Max Pressure (psi) Thickness (in.) Applications / Features
Butyl -40 to 225 150 1/16 to 1/4 Gases, inorganic acids & alkalis. Excellent impermeability.
EPDM -40 to 212 150 1/16 to 1/4 Water, steam, animal/vegetable oils. Excellent weather resistance.
Natural (Pure Gum) -20 to 140 100 1/32 to 1 Acids, organic salts & alkalis. High tensile strength.
Neoprene -20 to 170 150 1/32 to 2 Oil/gasoline. Excellent weather & ozone resistance.
Neoprene - Cloth Inserted -20 to 170 150 1/32 to 1/4 Oil/gasoline. High tensile strength. Reduced elongation.
